§ B — The KitWhat arrives at your door

One small box.

Hand-wrapped in undyed paper, tied with single black cord. No screens, no instruction sheets, no apps to install. The instrument is calibrated to you before it leaves the studio.

ogi Mk I eyewear

The instrument itself. Hand-built. Pre-calibrated to your gait, posture, and resting attention.

Brass charging dock

A small honed-brass cradle. Wireless. Quiet. Sits beside the bed; charges in 38 minutes.

Felt travel sleeve

Slow-felted Himalayan wool, dyed with iron oxide. Pocket-sized. No closure but its own weight.

Lifetime calibration

Send the lens back any year, any reason. We adjust the inference to who you've become since.

§ C — SpecsThe honest measurements

What the lens
actually is.

The instrument is not modest. But it has nothing to hide either. Every figure listed below is from a real Mk I, pulled at random from the second studio batch.
Material Solar bronze · single arc A single recovered alloy of copper and tin, drawn at low temperature into one continuous form — no welds.
Mass 22.4 g Lighter than your last decision. Disappears within an hour of wear.
Lens Sapphire glass · prism-coated Scratch-resistant to anything you would willingly do to it. Coated for retinal-glyph projection at 0.06 lumen.
Inference On-temple · never sent skyward A custom 4 nm silicon-photonic core, behind the temple. No cloud. No telemetry. No advertising surface.
Audio Bone whisper Two micro-actuators in the temple. Audible only to you. Inaudible at 4 cm.
Power 9.3 hrs continuous Solar-trickle bridge along the brow bar contributes ~22% on a clear day.
Connectivity UWB · LE Audio · paired pair Pairs only with its sibling lens (every Mk I ships with a partner unit to give to someone you love).
Stewardship Lifetime Calibration, repair, and lens exchange — for as long as you wear the instrument or wish to pass it on.
§ D — TimelineFrom reserve → wear

From reserve to wear,
in four quiet steps.

We move at the slow tempo of hand-built things. No drip emails, no dispatch surveys, no "your order is preparing" theatre — only four genuine letters, each at a real threshold.
Step 01 · Now

Reserve your Mk I

$215 holds your place in cohort A. Fully refundable until the kit leaves the studio. No payment instrument is stored.

Step 02 · Q3

The fitting letter

A short, paper letter arrives asking for three measurements and one quiet hour with a hand-mirror. No selfie required.

Step 03 · Q4 · early

The finishing dispatch

Your remaining balance settles. The six hands finish your specific Mk I — engraving, lens calibration, final inspection.

Step 04 · Q4 · ships

The box arrives

Hand-wrapped, hand-delivered where possible. One slow afternoon with the instrument before it asks anything of you.

§ E — Honest questionsAsked by early wearers

The questions
we've actually been asked.

Pulled, verbatim, from letters and conversations with cohort A members. We will keep adding to this list as honest questions arrive.
Is this an AR display?

No. The lens does not overlay video on the world. It draws — sparingly, in a soft retinal glyph — only the next three actions and only when asked. The world remains the world.

Does it record me?

No camera. No microphone for the cloud. The temple contains only inward-facing sensors (gaze, gait, micro-tremor, breath). No recording leaves the lens.

Do you store any of my data?

The instrument processes everything on the temple and forgets each session at sundown. Anonymous, opt-in field reports are the only thing that ever reach the studio.

What if it gives me a bad action?

Then you ignore it. The lens proposes; it never compels. We measure ourselves by the proportion of proposals you reject — a healthy wearer rejects roughly one in four.

Why ship in pairs?

Coherence is a two-body problem before it is a many-body one. Every Mk I ships with a partner unit to give to someone you wish to walk more clearly beside.

What does "Q4" mean for you?

October through December · 2150. We do not split this further until we know which afternoon the six hands will finish your specific instrument.
